So Long, Farewell Blogging!

For the Spring Student Blogging Challenge I have written seven posts eight if you are including this post and all of them have been set on the challenge. I was not the most excited about this for a couple reasons. The first reason is I am not the best writer though I still think I pulled of a few decent posts. Another reason is that it just sounded really boring to me and I am going to be honest here, my opinions did not really change that much. I received very few comments through the course of the Student Blogging Challenge. I think that my favorite post that I wrote was either my reading post or my traveling one because those are most favorite things to do.

When I started the the student blogging in the fall I was a complete failure at blogging. But as I got to the spring challenge I was like twenty times better than when I had started. My very first post was such as sad excuse of a blog post I do not even know why my teacher even published it. I was so bad at typing and the posts were so short it was just disturbing. But now my post are much longer and they are filled with so much detail and power. I started as a tiny insignificant little speck and now I have blossomed into an ALL POWERFUL Master of the blogging world.

Red = ME                                         Blue = My mom

What were your first impressions of this blog?  I thought it was really cool and very creative.    What captured your attention?  The All Alone poem captured my attention because I thought it was about you and it made me sad.                                                                                                         What distracted you on the blog?  It really distracted me when I saw the two posts where the writing was displaced.                                                                                                                             What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?   I loved the overall effect of the blog though always make sure to have proper grammar and spelling.

Xplosive Poem #3

All I heard at first was a deep, low growling,

Than a dull boom and a roar like thunder,

Boooooom, Crackle, Boooooom

And then,

Right in my face a huge

My flesh sizzling of my bones,

My blood boiling,

And then,

All Alone Poem #2

The Lonely Flower

It was standing all alone in in the open field,

waiting for the friend that never came.

Waiting and hoping that one day soon they would arrive,

and that they would play the whole day through.

It stood there for days on end but never did he appear.

Than one day a force almighty ripped through the field and blew the flower away.

And that was when he saw them, his friends, all standing on the other side of the field.

Waiting for him.

Who Am I: Poem #1

Who Am I?

Where do I belong in this world?                                                                                                               I try to fit in but to fit in I must change,                                                                                                     Is my change for better or for worse?

Who am I.

I am an actor, a dancer, and a student.                                                                                                     I will do anything to pursue my dreams,                                                                                               But what must I have to do to achieve them?

Who Am I!

They think that boy is me,                                                                                                                     They know him with a glance!                                                                                                               That stranger I have created.

Who Am I?                                                                                                                                              Who Am I.                                                                                                                                                Who Am I!

I Am Logan the Unknown!

Count out Three

This week was so amazing. There were so many unique and awesome post that it was hard to choose just one post. But I truly think that all of the post that I have chosen were amazing.

This week I visited a total of six blogs. I visited,                                                                           Dani2am,                                                                                                                                             Jaelynne6pm,                                                                                                                                                 Jazzy2am,                                                                                                                                                     Jayna2am,                                                                                                                                                     Colby1am,                                                                                                                                                     Austin1am

And I commented on three blogs. I visited,                                                                                                Paige2am,                                                                                                                                                    Hannah1am,                                                                                                                                                  Erica1am

There were some amazing posts written on these blogs. Though if I had to choose a favorite out of these three post from Paige’s, Hannah’s, or Erica’s I would probably be Hannah’s for two reasons. The first is because I love traveling sooooooooo much and the second reason is that her post was just a masterpiece and it was worded so wonderfully it was amazing. So good job to all three of you for those outstanding posts. See you next time on Logan’s Amazing Blog!

There are so many animals but now a very large percentage of them are extinct and we as humans can never naturally see them today because of our stupid and foolish ways. We have killed of so many species because of pollution and hunting them down for food. Imagine a world where all of these species had not been killed by and hunted down these amazing animals and we could see and touch them. It is one of the best worlds imaginable. Why? Because there would be so many beautiful creatures and species and we could learn so much from their genes and we might know where we originated from and how we evolved. So all in all animals are one of the best thing to ever happen to this planet. See you next time on Logan’s Amazing Blog!

I Love Traveling!

Photo Credit: FlyingJ31 via Compfight cc

Today I wil telling you the amazing story of my traveling to to South America. I decided to pack ten of all clothing items, two bathing suits, four pairs of shoes a survival kit a two cell phones and ten days worth of dried nuts, fruits and liquids. I started on North America my homeland, and from there I went to went to South America. In South America I visited, to Peru, to Argentina, to Brazil. My favorite places in these countries were Machu Picchu in Peru, Iguazu Falls in Argentina, and  in Brazil. Machu Picchu is the ruins of an Incan citadel in the Andes Mountains. It was built in the 15th century and it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar. It is truly amazing how these massive structures were created without the use of modern technology. Another place I traveled to was Iguazu Falls, they are these amazing waterfalls of the Iguazu River and legend says that a god planning to marry this beautiful woman but she fled with a human lover instead. He got so mad the god sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall. The last place I visited was the statue of Christ the Redeemer. It was by created by French sculptor and built by a Brazilian engineer. It is 98 ft tall, not including its pedestal, and its arms span. The statue weighs 635 metric tons, and is located at the peak of the Corcovado mountain  and is overlooking the city of Rio. To learn a bit more about these places click on of these three links,,  and

There were plenty of highlights but also some lowlights. Some of the highlights were the Nazca Lines, and Sacred Valley in Peru in Argentina I loved the Floralis Genérica and the Obelisco de Buenos Aires and in Brazil I really enjoyed the Maracanã Stadium and the Oscar Niemeyer Museum. Some of the lowlights mainly the bugs because it was so hot and I was sweating so much they were really attracted to me. Another one of the lowlights was the heat and humidity, I was sweating like a dog and I smelled horrible. Almost an hour after I took a shower I was sweaty and smelly. But my least favorite part of it all was was that I was always getting lost. One minute everything was fine and dandy and the next I was a really creepy part of town were there was a lot of crime. It was really sad and  super scary at the same time. Next time I will bring a map and a GPS a TON of deodorant and a lot of bug repellent. Althow there were plenty of rough spots on my trip there were so many amazing things. I really hope I can go back soon.

I was really glad I got to visit all of those amazing places and if I had the chance to back I would do it in a heart beat. I loved all of the places that I went to but I think I would visit all different countries just to get some new experiences. I really loved going to South America and I really hope I can go back soon. See you next time on Logan’s Amazing Blog!

Sorry! is a board game that is based on the ancient Cross and Circle game Pachisi. Players try to travel around the board with their pieces faster than any other player. Sorry! is marketed for two to four players, ages six through adult. The game title comes from the many ways in which a player can negate the progress of another, while issuing an apologetic “Sorry!”

The earliest variation of Sorry! goes all the way back to England. Sorry!  was registered as a trademark on 21 May 1929. Early versions of the game was manufactured by BCM (British Card Manufacturers). It was trademarked in the UK to Waddingtons, the British games manufacturer who sold it from 1934. Sorry! was then adopted by Parker Brothers. Hasbro now publishes it, as they purchased Parker Brothers.

All in all Sorry! is just a really fun game to play with family and friends. If is it is a competitive game or just for fun I would say it is one of the best games ever invented. People all over the world could be playing it right now or learning about it just like you are! So go on an play some Sorry!

For me there are very few things in this world that can be compared to reading. When ever I am not am not doing my chores, or I am at theater or dance studio and not studying and working in school you can almost always find me curled up in my bed reading a book. I will read almost any book that I can get my hands on. I love all books but the genres that I love the most are Fantasy and Science Fiction.

Some of my favorite authors are Cinda Williams Chima who is the author of the Heir Chronicles and the Seven Realms novels, Rick Riordan who wrote the Percy Jackson & the Olympians the Heroes of Olympus and the Kane Chronicles, and Christopher Paolini who is the author of the Inheritance Cycle. But if I were to have to choose my favorite of those three I think it would be Rick Riordan. Who would your favorite author be? I you want to get more information about him and his books follow this link to his website Rick Riordan has wrote some amazing books and he is coming out with another one titled Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer which will come out 10-6-15.  I cant wait till it comes out!

For me there is nothing in this world that can be compared to reading! Not dance, not theater and not even school! I love all of those things and the closest of those three to reading is theater where I can do or be anything but all of them just barely fall short to reading. If I had not grown up reading than I am not sure what I would be doing with my life. I probably be lying on the couch just eating chips and watching tv. I am so thankful for books because . . . I LOVE READING  SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Model United Nations

UN Geneva via Compfight cc

This year I am participating in the Oregon Model United Nations (OMUN). Though I will only be participating as a page running messages around to the other rooms, I still think it will be a fun experience to be a part of since I will be able to listen to the high school delegate’s discussing the some of the  many major world problems.  What will be even more exciting is that my dad will be one of the teachers supervising the middle schoolers, and we will be working with our friends in conference rooms delivering notes to them and receiving them to. The man in charge of the Oregon Model United Nations is Mr. Savard. To get more info about the Oregon model UN follow this link I am super glad that I will be participating in it this year.
